Desperately needing help

Dear friends,

As many of you know, my father is terminally ill and has been struggling with health issues for many years. My sisters and I are doing our best to comfort him. Our most painful task in settling his affairs is to find homes for his 4 constant companions, his cats.

There is Sugar, who is elderly but very spry. She is spayed and just wants someone to cuddle up with. She is an indoor kitty that gets along with all the other cats. She is basically the mother hen around here.

Next there is Taffy. She is a spayed female orange and white tabby. She cuddles with Sugar and cries out to find her when she is out of sight. Taffy is a real talker. A little skittish at first, but is just dying to be friends.

Then there is Miracle. She is very skittish and it will take some time to earn her trust. She is a dark grey/black striped tabby and is spayed. She will not leave our Dad's side and will need someone special to look after soon. She is an attention hound once you get to know her.

And finally there is Bootsy. She is a ghost cat. Dad always asks about her and none of us had seen her, so we just thought dad had an 'imaginary' cat...but then one night, there she was. She is very skittish and will be the most difficult to place. She is also spayed and an indoor cat, but she may transition well to the outdoors.

We are asking our friends and family to open their hearts and homes to one of these girls that have been so unconditionally loving towards our father. If you can not adopt, please consider fostering until we can find them homes.

Cyndi is the only daughter that lives in the state and has a full house, and then some, with 8 permanent cats and 4 abandoned strays. She is needing to place 6 as well and has no space for her own.

So please consider doing this great favor for us. Also, please forward this to everyone in your address books..be shameless in your quest to help out...we are!

Time is very short for these sweet kitties, so please reply as soon as you are able.

Thank you so much!
